General Meeting Minutes (05/02/2020)

Note: This meeting was held virtually.

 Meeting Minutes:
1.    From the last meeting: Deepak dai to create a documentation of a 3 Year plan (target ), including election plans going forward. Need enough membership and should have the election after 3 months after the Government’s opening from the State. We need to have at least 150 membership for the election to be conducted.
2.    Folsom Chapter meeting was done last time before the pandemic. We will be meeting every other month, a week before the SNCC meeting. Also, Folsom Chapter will decide how and when to disburse the collection of the money from past events. Another, the election should be held (after dissolving the present elected body) in the near future for an official working body. Any other chapters are free to update with their meeting/feedbacks.
3.    COVID-19: Any affected Nepalese in the community? Should we discuss helping with any information sharing or materials sharing? Especially students and newly arrived Nepalese in dire needs of basic necessities and even boarding. Some families may be willing to host, perhaps on a temporary basis?
4.    Update of website construction from Saroj if any?- Ongoing work, like user registration, member payments, etc. Payments need to be encouraged by check, but PayPal would work as well, but there will be about 2% merchant fee to SNCC. To be discussed further in the next meeting.
5.    Update on financials?- Mahendra ji to provide financials next meeting. 
6.    Update on other official documents? – N/A
7.    Saroj to look into which platform to register for online virtual meetings going forward. 
8.    Next meeting Saturday, May 16th at 4:30 pm.
