Goal of SNCC
Greater Sacramento Nepalese Community Center (SNCC) is a nonprofit public benefit community organization. SNCC serves for the broader, greater and wider interests of the society. It aims at bringing about desired goals and community works for the social well-being of the entire Nepalese community free from political colors, communal feelings and particular religious beliefs.
Our Objective
- To establish a Nepalese Community Center.
- To operate a platform and organize Nepali families with social, cultural, spiritual, national and international values on a regular basis for the benefit of the community.
- To establish and maintain a community center for the purpose of conducting educational, cultural, literary, and performing arts activities consistent with the mission as stated Article 1.4.
- To encourage sponsoring and/or supporting community service and charitable activities for the benefit of the community and the nation as a whole.
- To work with other community organizations on areas of common interests
Membership
Any person who is 18 years or older and agrees to participate in accomplishing the objectives of the Corporation and pledges to be abided by its Bylaws can be a member by paying the specified membership fees. The categories of membership shall be governed by the SNCC Bylaws.
